Industrial benches, i.e. loft benches, are trendy
Industrial-style benches are a perfect example of the truth of the saying: necessity is the mother of invention. When in the 19th century Western Europe and the United States began dynamic industrial development, initiating the so-called industrial revolution, many factory workers had to face the problem of lack of a roof over their heads. Smaller and smaller apartments also forced changes in the way of thinking about furniture. Steel hangers, beds and benches began to be built, and the material was supplied by numerous factories. Such small apartments in the attics were called lofts, and the way they were furnished gained the name loft style after many years.
Today, loft furniture is one of the most interesting ways to furnish a home. The strong material, i.e. steel, along with the austerity and simplicity of shapes, is an ideal solution for people who value order and order, and the term "industrial" is used in parallel to the name "loft". The loft style reigns not only in homes. Industrial benches for the hall are as eagerly bought as industrial benches for the office, study, law firm or boutique.
It is obvious that industrial upholstered benches perfectly harmonize with the loft style, but they also work great in other interiors. Their practical nature makes them complement modern and Scandinavian, and even vintage decor.

Industrial benches, or otherwise loft benches, appeared in our offer a few years ago and immediately turned out to be a great hit. We create them using the best Polish steel. The seat is made of a thick furniture board, on which we apply upholstery foam. Properly selected foam density makes the bench comfortable and does not deform. The next layer of the industrial bench seat is wadding. Hypoallergenic wadding makes the bench resilient and safe for the health of the whole family.
And finally the fabric. We have prepared a wide range of fabrics in many colors and textures. They include matte and glossy, smooth and suede materials. You can also choose one of several colors of ecological leather.
The fabric used to create our bench deserves a few extra sentences. Do you know how a very high quality material is defined? Using the so-called Martindale scale, it is tested how many cycles the fabric will survive without damage, i.e. how many times you have to sit on it for it to wear. Already 10,000 such cycles make the fabric considered very good. And our materials have at least 40,000 cycles, some even 100,000.
In addition, all the fabrics we use are safe for human and animal health, and the Oeko-Tex certificate ensures their neutral impact on the environment. Many of our fabrics are moisture resistant, stain-resistant and non-combustible.
The basis of the industrial upholstered bench is the best steel
Industrial benches were originally made only of steel. Today, steel is an essential part of them. Our loft benches are made of Polish carbon steel. It is used to create profiles with a thickness of 2 millimeters, as well as bars and mesh in the benches, which we have equipped with shelves for shoes. The steel is carefully welded and then sanded to remove all sharp edges. Sandblasting allows you to smooth the metal surface, and finally the painting stage. Of course, powder coated to cover the entire surface as accurately as possible.
