This is loft style at its best. Apparently there is no dispute about tastes, but everyone will admit that excellent Polish steel and the best quality wood combined as a bench look delightful. This is the wealth of the line of loft benches designed and created by us. They look great in a house or apartment decorated in an industrial style, but also blend in with modern and Scandinavian styles.

A characteristic thing about the industrial style, which is another name for the loft style, is that steel is used to create furniture. This is how each of our industrial benches was created. When two centuries ago the industrial revolution brought millions of manufacturers to London and large cities in the USA, no one took care of the right amount of living and sleeping space for new residents. So the residents took care of it on their own.

Although even the attics became apartments, something had to be done with the huge wooden wardrobes and chests of drawers. What was unnecessary was thrown away, and what was necessary began to be made of steel, which was not lacking in the opening factories. It is from the flourishing industrial cities and attics that the name of the style that turned steel into a material for strong and practical furniture comes from. Today, they are also very beautiful.

Creating the best industrial bench requires the best materials

Steel was quickly joined by wood and this duo is the most traditionally understood loft style. The benches sold in our online store are also made of these materials. But today we strive to make all the details perfect.

We take steel from Polish steelworks. The best carbon steel is rolled to a thickness of 2 millimeters and the profiles for our benches are made of it. As well as bars and grilles that you will find on some of our bench models. Frames are welded from strong profiles, which were previously designed by an experienced architect and owner of the Bench4Home company. Our craftsmen connect the pieces and close all openings to keep the whole thing safe and beautiful.

Now we need to grind the welds to make them look even better and to make them safe for the users of our benches. Steel taken straight from the steelworks can have sharp burrs, so now it needs to be sandblasted, i.e. smooth its surface. Finally, the profiles are powder coated. This method is more accurate and safer for welds.

We use the best Polish wood to prepare the seat. We have noticed that one species is even more durable than oak and is just as beautiful. It's beech wood. Seats for benches are made of healthy boards, which we smooth and cover with premium Italian varnish.

Since we introduced industrial benches made of wood and metal to our offer, they have become very popular. Today we offer several dozen variants. Some are classically simple, others intersect at interesting angles, and others have shelves under the seat prepared for storing shoes or slippers. All benches are secured from the bottom so that they do not scratch or damage the floor.

All the benches we offer are made according to the order of our customers. Thanks to this, you can choose the color of the metal structure: white or black. You also have an impact on the width of the bench. We create seats that are 45 centimeters wide and 120 centimeters wide. The depth of the bench is also selectable, as is the height of some models.
